REGIONWIDE. School-on-the-Air (SOA) program transcends geographic boundaries and educate a wide range of audiences, including isolated and rural areas, mostly on agriculture. In areas where there may be limited access to traditional educational facilities, this accessibility is essential for promoting knowledge.

By leveraging a variety of media types, including as podcasts, internet platforms, and radio broadcasts, SOA adjusts to the changing landscape of education. Because of this flexibility, students are guaranteed to have access to worthwhile content via channels that best fit their interests and technological capacities.

With this, the Agricultural Training Institute in Central Visayas conducted a SOA under the Coconut Farmers Industry Development Program (CFIDP) held at Tubigon, Talibon & Ubay Radio Stations on August 22, 2023 to September 21, 2023 with 500 total number of coco-farmer graduates.

The activity aimed that the graduates should be able to enhanced their know-how on the curriculum under the SOA for Coconut.

Programs under the SOA have the ability to incorporate and maintain indigenous agricultural knowledge and cultural traditions. This integration guarantees that conventional knowledge coexists with contemporary farming methods, encouraging a farming philosophy that is all-encompassing.
