The Agricultural Training Institute in Central Visayas (ATI-CV) conducted a School-on-the-Air (SOA) on Organic Farming System which concluded on June 17, 2022, in San Francisco, Cebu.

Aired from May 23 to June 17, 2022, via Nutriskwela Radyo Kalampusan DYNH 99.1 FM every Monday to Friday at 12:00 - 12:30 NN, the SOA produced 474 farmer-graduates from all of its municipalities. It aimed to increase the number of Famers engaged in organic agriculture and improve current practices through the dissemination of new and effective technology using the radio as the medium of extension.

“Pinaagi sa DYNH ug ATI, natagaan ko ug mga kasayuran kalahot sa pag-atiman ug mga otanon ginamit sa tawo ug sa kinaiyahan nga dili makahatag ug sakit sa tawo ug sa kinaiyahan. Pananglit sa paghimo ug organikong abuno sama sa FFJ, FAA, FPJ ug uban pa,” said Josefino N. Estrera, a participant. 

Project Officer, Mr. Jun Alguin B. Oliver, led the presentation and confirmation of the graduates composed of 115 males and 359 females.

Meanwhile, farm tools were distributed by ATI-Central Visayas to all the participants of the program.
