Central Visayas – About 300 NCFRS registered coco farmers participated in the series of Techno Forums on June 25, 27 & 28, 2024 held in San Juan, Siquijor, La Libertad, and Bais City, Negros Oriental, respectively.

The forum aims to bring together experts, industry professionals, farmers, and coco-enthusiasts to share knowledge, collaborate on projects, and drive the development of cutting-edge solutions in the coconut industry.

Topics discussed during the forums include Good Agricultural Practices; Integrated Pest Management; Coconut Cultural Management; VCO production; Financial Management; Market Access; Product Development & Potential By-products of Coconut.

The pool of speakers were Godwina Infiesto, Arniel Concepcion, Rosalinda Arbon, Josie Raging, Marvin Ibrahim, and Jeanmay Maglangit all from PCA Negros Oriental. ATI-7 IO II Doris Isabel Racho served as the project officer assisted by Engr. Aljo Mahumot.
