A successful launching of the 4-H Club Program in Carcar City, Cebu was attended by Ms. Hanna Gwyn A. Catadman, 4-H Club Regional Treasurer on behalf of 4-H Central Visayas on January 10, 2025.
The 4-H Club is a youth organization that focuses on empowering young people to develop life skills and leadership abilities through hands-on learning experiences. The "4-H" stands for the four key values the organization emphasizes: Head (thinking), Heart (caring), Hands (doing), and Health (living well).
In addition, the 4-H Club offers a wide variety of programs and activities, often revolving around topics like agriculture, science, and technology, as well as arts, leadership, and community service. The activities encourage young people to take on projects that involve teamwork, responsibility, and creativity. These projects may include things like raising livestock, growing plants, creating art, or participating in public speaking.
The ultimate goal of the 4-H Club is to help young people become responsible, engaged citizens and leaders in their communities.
