In commemoration of the Agricultural Training Institute's (ATI) 38th Founding Anniversary, #ATICentralVisayas hosted an engaging Sports Fest that brought together teams for a day of competition, camaraderie, and celebration.
The event featured five dynamic teams composed of participants from ATI-7 personnel—both regular and contractual staff—alongside immersion students from Corella National High School and on-the-job trainees from Bohol Island State University (BISU-Bilar Campus). The diverse participation highlighted a sense of community, as every member, regardless of status, contributed to their team's performance with enthusiasm and competitive spirit.
Reflecting on this year’s theme, “Youth in Agriculture: Cultivating Innovations through Partnerships,” the Sports Fest embodied ATI’s commitment to empowering the next generation of agricultural leaders and fostering collaboration within the sector. The mixed team compositions showcased the event's inclusive nature, demonstrating the power of partnership in promoting agricultural innovation.
The games featured a variety of competitive activities, including outdoor events like badminton, limbo rack, and basketball, alongside engaging indoor contests such as chess, sungka, quiz bee, Pinoy Henyo, and snake and ladder.
Results of the Games:
Grand Champion: Blue Team - 360 points
First Runner Up: Red Team - 350 points
2nd Runners Up: Violet Team and Orange Team - 280 points each
3rd Runner Up: Green Team - 260 points
The Sports Fest was a resounding success, fostering teamwork and excitement while emphasizing the vital role of youth in agricultural innovation and sustainable practices.
