Tagbilaran City – Agricultural Training Institute Central Visayas (ATI-7) warmly congratulates its six (6) Farmers Information Technology Services (FITS) Achievers Awardees 2024. Congratulations to FITS Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental for bagging the BEST FITS Center Implementer, Most Innovative FITS Center & Highest Number of KP Dissemination; FITS Bindoy, Negros Oriental for the Most Improved FITS Center and Highest Number of KP Developed; FITS San Francisco, Cebu for the Highest Number of Reports Submitted. Special recognition also goes to FITS Bayawan City & Valencia in Negros Oriental and FITS Tubigon, Bohol for being runners-up.
The awarding was held during the 38th ATI Founding Anniversary celebration at ATI RTC VII, Tagbilaran City on February 14, 2025. In CY 2024, there are FITS centers that actively implement various programs to advance agricultural development, technology transfer, and farmer empowerment, which are worth recognizing. Thus, ATI Central Visayas through its FITS program initiated this award to performing FITS Center and staff for their outstanding performance and contributions.
As appreciation of their exemplary contribution, the six (6) major awardees received plaques and ICT equipment as rewards, likewise to the runners-up. ATI-7 Center Director Gracia F. Arado, PhD led the Awarding alongside IS Chief Merrian P. Soliva, PhD, and FITS Focal Person Doris Isabel J. Racho, DM. Also present to receive their awards were Guihulngan City FITS Manager Allimar Amaat with ISS Klenton Gamao, Bindoy FITS ISS Alijah Gabriel Palumar, and San Francisco FITS ISS Johnray Jaron.
