The facilities are expected to improve production efficiency and provide sustainable livelihood opportunities for the residents of Jagna.

Mayor Joseph A. Rañola of Jagna led the event, joined by Vice Mayor, Sangguniang Bayan (SB) members, and other local government staff. Their presence underscored the importance of local government support for community-driven development initiatives. The ceremony was also graced by key officials from the Department of Agriculture (DA) and the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), including Director Angel C. Enriquez, with RTD Boboy Namoc and other key officials of DA-RFO 7 and Dr. Gracia F. Arado, Center Director of ATI-RTC VII.

The formal program, which followed a lunch, saw speeches from the dignitaries emphasizing the vital role of agriculture and fishery in the local economy. They highlighted the significance of these projects in strengthening the livelihood of farmers and fishermen in Jagna, while also promoting sustainable practices in the agri-fishery sector.

“The launch of these facilities represents our collective commitment to providing our farmers and fisherfolk with the resources and support they need to thrive,” said Mayor Rañola. “We are proud of the progress we’ve made, and we look forward to seeing these projects contribute to the long-term development of Jagna.”
