The Department of Agriculture (DA) bureau, Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) in CALABARZON, distributed information, education, and communication (IEC) materials in support of the “Distribution of Presidential Assistance to Farmers, Fisherfolks, and Families” held consecutively on July 11 in San Jose, Batangas, and Dasmariñas City, Cavite.
As part of the administration’s “Bagong Pilipinas” brand of leadership and campaign, Pres. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. led the turnover of farming and fishing equipment and supplies, as well as financial aid to beneficiaries from five provinces in the region.
Two teams consisting of ATI CALABARZON personnel attended and participated in the said activity, led separately by Center Director Dr. Rolando V. Maningas for San Jose, and Asst. Center Director Ms. Sherylou C. Alfaro for Dasmariñas City.
DA Sec. Francisco Tiu Laurel, Jr. and various national and local government officials also graced the event.
Aside from DA, other government agencies namely the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) also turned over assistance to their respective beneficiaries.
