From February 17 to 21, 2025, twenty-five (25) rice farmers from various F2C2 rice clusters in the region gained valuable insights into modern rice production technologies and agro-enterprise strategies, enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of their agricultural practices.
During the closing program, representatives from the Manggalang Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Cooperative (MARBENCO), Sintorisan-Behia SWISA Farmers Association, Sariaya Farmers Federation (SAFAFED), and Sama-samang Samahan ng Brgy. San Antonio - Kalayaan shared their impressions and key takeaways from the training.
“Noong una akong pumunta rito, inakala kong sapat na ang kaalaman ko sa pagnenegosyo. Ngunit sa pagsasanay na ito, napagtanto kong marami pa pala akong dapat matutunan. Kaya naman, uuwi ako nang may baong bagong kaalaman na tiyak na makatutulong sa pagpapalago ng aking produkto,” said Rosie L. Garde of Sintorisan-Behia SWISA Farmers Association.
Asst. Center Director Sherylou C. Alfaro also graced the event, delivering an inspiring message to the participants.
