PASAY CITY, Metro Manila — Concluding the first batch of the National Youth Internship Program on Organic Agriculture (YIPOA), the achievements of the program and its interns were celebrated through a graduation ceremony and symposium held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in this city on December 17, 2024.
This 21-month internship program, which started in April 2023 and was implemented by the Department of Agriculture (DA), National Organic Agriculture Program (NOAP), and Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), aimed at empowering youth and advancing organic agriculture.
The program was able to grant each graduate a 150,000-peso start-up fund to implement their respective projects.
