Mechanics of My Wonder Juana

A video contest will be one of the highlights of this year’s celebration of National Women’s Month, with the theme “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality.”

The stakeholders will feature a woman in agriculture & fisheries (AF) extension through a short video story, showcasing her exemplary performance and innovations in the field of agricultural extension using digital platforms.

Eligibility:

1. All stakeholders residing in CALABARZON are eligible to participate in the contest.
2. The subject matter should be a woman in AF extension (e.g. AEW, NGA, SUC, LSA, ATI CALABARZON employee, etc)

Mechanics:

1. Only original and unpublished video entries will be considered.
2. Minimum of 5 minutes and maximum of 7 minutes duration. The exceeding number of minutes will be deducted to the total points garnered.
3. Video entries will be accepted from March 6 to 21, 2023. Late entries will not be considered.
4. All submitted videos should include credits (name of the subject/s, production staff, LGU, NGA, SUC LSA, etc.)
5. The winners will be announced on March 29, 2023 on DA-ATI CALABARZON Facebook page.

Criteria for Judging

Entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges from DA-ATI CALABARZON and invited experts. Winners will be selected based on relevance to the theme, creativity, originality, overall impact, and quality of the video. The panel’s decision shall be considered final and irrevocable.

1. Adherence to the theme (30 pts):

             • Does the video entry address the theme?

            • Does the video add value to the advocacy of achieving gender equality and inclusive society.

           • How compelling is the video?

          • Is the video presented in a logical sequence?

      2. Creativity of storytelling and Originality of material (20 pts):

          • Does the video incorporate concepts, style, or media that are different and creative?

     3. Technical Production Quality (30 pts):

        •How well is the video produced with regard to continuity, timing, camera operation, sound quality, editing and adherence to time frame (5- 7 minutes)?

     4. Overall Impact (10 pts):

         • Does the video evoke an emotion from the viewers?

    5. Facebook reactions (10 pts):

• Which entry garnered the highest number of reactions on Facebook? 

Prizes

The winning entry will receive cash prizes broken down, as follows:

                               1^st Place            -             Php 10,000.00 + Php 5, 000.00 (Subject matter)

                              2^nd Place           -             Php   7,000.00 + Php 3, 000.00 (Subject matter)

                              3^rd Place            -             Php   5, 000.00 + Php 1, 000.00 (Subject matter)

                              Consolation Prize:      Php 3, 000.00
