Agriculturally Awesome: A Regional Farm Tourism Travel Guide vol.1

The idea behind producing a travel guide was brought about by the opportunity to attract local and foreign tourists to farm tourism sites that offer a relaxing environment and a chance to commune with nature. The Regional Farm Tourism Travel Guide focuses on the synergistic fusion of agriculture and fisheries in the region.
The publication contains the nine (9) DOT accredited Agri-Tourism sites and it showcases the Center's-assisted Learning Sites, School for Practical Agriculture (SPA) and model farms of the Magsasaka Syentista (MS). Furthermore, it serves as a guide to famous delicacies, products, scenic spots, festivals and regional agri commodities produced by the MS of ATI’s FITS Centers. To be able to reach out to agri-enthusiasts and the public, the ATI IV-A and DOT IV-A entered in a Memorandum of Understanding for the production, promotion and distribution of the travel guide. Visiting the farms and sites contained in this publication is a perfect opportunity to bring the consumers closer to the producers, and fully understand the value of their work in providing safe and quality food to the country.
