In the presence of ATI Bicol Center Director Elsa A. Parot, Justine Rose Cano-Tubig (UA/OA focal person), Juan Paulo Acopio (technical staff), PB. Ricardo G. Laura, 4H Club members and their parents, Bernard E. Gomez (Brigada Eskwela Coordinator), Al Alcantara (GPP Coordinator/4H Club Coordinator), GEN-Z Young Farmers Association is now an official partner of the ATI Bicol Gardenscape under the Urban Agriculture program.

“This project becomes a pro bono effort for me with a free chance to at least help the community, the school, and the students learn about and appreciate agriculture as a way of life. I was fortunate to be able to use one of the trustworthy sources---DA ATI as a reference for this agricultural instruction in school. Since I have fallen in love with what I do—teaching agriculture—I believe this project should no longer be a requirement”. Alcantara, GPP coordinator at Pili National High School in Magallanes, Sorsogon, made the statement. He said that the pandemic created new opportunities to establish the farm and reconnect with nature. This will be remembered as a magnificent historical occurrence.

The OA/UA Focal Person, Ms. Justine Rose Cano-Tubig, outlined the young farmers', parents', teachers', and ATI Bicol's signing obligations for the MOA signing. I hope that the tools and inputs will serve as the start of sustaining the urban garden and will soon transform to LSA (Learning Site for Agriculture). "This project will be a channel for providing income and ATI-RTC V will assist in sustaining the endeavor since we are witness to the willingness of the young farmers in this community."

"I started with three containers and developed them with the knowledge, skills, and attitude I acquired throughout our course on organic agriculture, as well as via the support of the teachers and my classmates, and I found farming to be an adventure," said Jesus Francisco Enteria, or Kiko, president of The Gen-Z Young Farmers Association-4H Club.

"ATI Bicol Center Director Elsa Parot's message brightened the mood during the MOA signing." "We came because of what you accomplished, and we are thankful for the opportunity." To be honest, I envy the parents because your child uses their time productively. This is the beginning of this significant venture since, as Kiko mentioned, he started with three containers in his garden, implying that you may start small but think big. This program aims to teach young people how to cultivate and provide food. Continue to enjoy what you're doing and learn more about agriculture.
