The objective of the training was to capacitate coconut farmers with knowledge and skills on native chicken production integrated under coconut trees. Among the highlights of the three-day training were hands-on activities on feed mixing with locally available materials to augment the high prices of commercial feeds; and a field visit to Luis Coconut Farm in Dasol.

The training was funded under the Coconut Farmers Industry Development Plan of ATI-RTC 1 and partnered with Roheim AgriTourism Skills Development Center Inc.-an accredited Private Extension Service Provider in San Fabian, Pangasinan.
