Participants gained a deeper understanding of the national livestock program and the different services offered by agencies related to the program. They have also identified available programs and services and enhanced their knowledge to support livestock growers effectively throughout the region.

The briefings presented comprehensive insights through the collaboration of key agencies, such as the Philippine Carabao Center (PCC) at Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU), PCC at Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMSU), National Dairy Authority (NDA), National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS), and the Office of Provincial Veterinary (OPVet) of Pangasinan, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, and La Union, as well as the Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office 1 (DA-RFO 1).

This initiative and collaborative effort with the different agencies highlights the commitment to continuously support livestock raisers and growers in the region amidst challenges.
