ATI Ilocos Region participated in the Department of Agriculture - Regional Field Office I (DA-RFO I) Regional Research and Development Information Caravan cum Bagong Pilipinas Town Hall Meeting (BPTHM) on May 15, 2024 at the La Union Convention Center, San Fernando City, La Union.
In celebration of the farmers and fisherfolk month, the activity aimed to disseminate the DA's research and development results/outputs throughout the Ilocos Region. It sought to strengthen knowledge exchange among researchers, extension service providers, agribusiness managers, and the farming communities in order to promote collaborative agricultural innovation, capacity building, and technology transfer.
During the event, ATI Ilocos Region displayed and distributed various Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials to the participants. The materials provided vital information and updates on the most recent agricultural practices, technology, and innovations, contributing to the event's goal of creating a well-informed agricultural community.
The BPTHM intensifies the promotion of DAโs programs and projects and amplifies the current administrationโs focused agenda anchored to the goal of Masaganang Bagong Pilipinas.
