BPP Provincial Summit 1

In preparation for the upcoming Binhi ng Pag-Asa Program (BPP) National Summit and Year-End Assessment, graduates of each municipal batch gathered for the BPP Oriental Mindoro Provincial Summit at ATI-RTC MIMAROPA, Barcenaga, Naujan, Oriental Mindoro on November 9-10, 2024.

The activity also served as the program’s culminating activity, where the youth beneficiaries were given the opportunity to share their experiences during the implementation of the program. Meanwhile, graduates from the BPP 2022 also shared their success stories and innovative ideas to inspire the current batch to value the starter kits they received.

Part of the activity also includes the conduct of various contests that fostered creativity, critical thinking, and talent development in each participant. Winners of the contests were selected  as the center’s representative for the upcoming National Summit.

During the activity, the status and schedule of distribution of the participants’ starter kits were announced. The participants also expressed their gratitude for the successful implementation of the program, from the first batch of the municipal level until the provincial level, and hoped that this could mark the beginning of their joint mission as youth to achieve sustainable agriculture.

Today marks another milestone for the Binhi ng Pag-Asa Program, from the municipal to the provincial level here in Oriental Mindoro. It is once again a great opportunity to attend the very first BPP Provincial Summit. This program is proof that the graduates of the training from different batches and municipalities are truly prepared to venture into the business with the starter kits given to us. This is more than a program; it is a movement with a sustainable purpose. Ngayon pa lang, ang tagumpay ay nasa atin na. Maraming salamat palagi sa DA, DA-ATI, at sa Office of Senator Grace Poe,” said Mr. John John M. Bidon, President of 4H Club Socorro.
