In celebration of the Agricultural Training Institute’s (ATI) 37th Founding Anniversary with the theme “Innovate, Collaborate, Succeed: Growing Together for a Sustainable Future”, ATI MIMAROPA joined the AgriAsenso ATI Learning Sites and Product Expo and Techno Forum on February 2-4, 2024 at the TriNoma Malls Activity Center, Quezon City.

The three-day event aimed to assist Learning Sites for Agriculture (LSAs) in making their products more accessible to households. Through this initiative, consumers were given the opportunity to purchase fresh local agricultural products, as well as non-food items from ATI’s certified LSAs through its Regional Training Centers (RTCs).

At the ATI MIMAROPA booth, a variety of products were sold including Artemisium café latte, Artemisium herbal coffee, Artemisium strong coffee, banana sticks, calamansi concentrate, calamansi powdered juice, ginger turmeric, oyster mushroom chicharron, peanut butter, salabat, stevia powder, vermicast, wood vinegar, bio-fertilizer and souvenirs, among others. These products were sourced directly from our LSAs and partners, namely, Willandaise Integrated Farm, Gabutero Organic Farm, Blakes Agri-tourism Technofarm Inc., E and B Farm, Yamang Bukid Farm, Salika Agriculture Cooperative, and Mangyan Mission, Inc.

Aside from the product expo, four of the LSA cooperators in the MIMAROPA region led by Mary Help of Christians School (Mindoro), Inc., participated in the three-day TechnoForum. The event covered topics such as farming practices, technologies, and marketing strategies for farm-to-market products.

Moreover, booth exhibitors at each RTC were given the opportunity during the forum to promote the products they had in their booths, encouraging mall-goers to buy and support local products.

Thanks to the trust given by our partners, for ATI MIMAROPA alone, we have completely sold out the agricultural products generating over Php 128,000.00 in sales.

A total of 16 RTCs including the International Training Center on Pig Husbandry participated in the said event.
