In a remarkable display of talent and dedication, Mr. Gio Earl C. Laguerta, the sole delegate from the MIMAROPA region, secured significant awards at the 71st 4-H National Farm Youth Convention, held on June 18-21, 2024 at the Siargao Island Sports and Tourism Center, Dapa, Siargao.
Mr. Laguerta, who serves as the 4-H Club Federation President of Calapan City, won 3rd place in both the Agri-Tale Contest and the Transformation Contest. Moreover, his exemplary contributions to the field earned him a spot as a finalist for the Most Outstanding 4-H Club Member award.
The event also recognized the exceptional efforts of Ms. Pamela E. Rago, the Supervising Agriculturist of the Calapan Agriculture Services Division, who was awarded the Most Outstanding 4-H Coordinator in the Municipal Category.
The awards and recognition received by Mr. Laguerta and Ms. Rago reflect their unwavering passion for serving and molding the future generation of agripreneurs in the region.
