The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) in MIMAROPA conducted the turnover ceremony for the Farmers Information and Technology Services (FITS) Center at the Provincial Agriculture Office (OPAg) – Romblon on November 14, 2023.
Center Director Pat Andrew B. Barrientos, M.M., J.D. of ATI-MIMAROPA; OIC-Provincial Agriculturist Engr. Al F. Fetalver; Information Officer II, Mr. Erlan D. Pasana of ATI-MIMAROPA; and several farmer leaders attended the said activity.
The said FITS Center received ICT equipment and office materials, including a laptop, Bluetooth speaker, chairs, tables, and various IEC materials.
The FITS Center will serve as a one-stop office facility of the OPAg-Romblon, with its main function being to provide ready access to IEC materials and services for farmers and youth, among others.
