To update the staff from the Farmers Information and Technology Services (FITS) Centers/Kiosks, representatives from the Partner Agencies (PAs), and Magsasaka Siyentista (MS) on the new guidelines in the implementation of the Techno Gabay Program (TGP), the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) in MIMAROPA conducted the first TGP Quarterly Meeting through blended approach on March 29, 2023 at the ATI-MIMAROPA, Barcenaga, Naujan, Oriental Mindoro.
During the activity, the participants learned from the discussion of Mr. Erlan D. Pasana, Information Officer II/TGP Point Person the updated procedures and requirements in the establishment and enhancement of FITS Center, FITS Kiosk, and MS.
Also, the participants gained an understanding of the latest criteria for MS selection. Moreover, the issues and concerns encountered by them in the implementation of TGP in their respective municipalities were addressed in the meeting.
In addition, they were informed about the target activities of the Center related to TGP this year.
Center Director Pat Andrew B. Barrientos gave his closing message during the activity. “You have big roles when it comes to information dissemination.” Kayo ang katuwang namin para malaman ng ating kliyente ang mga programa ng gobyerno,” he said.
A total of 30 participants from the FITS Centers/Kiosks, PAs, and MSs in the MIMAROPA region participated in the activity.
