Participants of the Capability Training for Regional Pre-Assessment Team on Participatory Guarantee System (PGS) embark on an immersive learning experience as future RPAT in their respective regions.
As part of their workshop activity, 28 participants from Regions III, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, and V are conducting simultaneous simulation activity or mock inspection on the five farms of the core-farmer members of Organico Mindoreño – Magsayasay Chapter PGS Group.
This hands-on approach allowed them to apply their knowledge and skills learned from the said training, enhancing their understanding of PGS practices. Equipped with this practical experience, they are expected to be well-prepared to serve as diligent Regional Pre-Inspectors in the PGS, safeguarding the integrity of organic certification in their respective regions.
The said training which is being held at Lola’s Healthy Farm, Inc., Magsaysay, Occidental Mindoro is in partnership with the Bureau of Agriculture and Fisheries Standards.
