The ATI MIMAROPA through the Information Services Section conducted a 3-day AgriTalk on Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) Program Updates on October 11-13, 2022 via Facebook live. The activity aims to intensify the promotion of the program as well as to give updates on our stakeholders on the implementation of RCEF particularly under extension program component.
Ms. Marilyn Gonda, RCEF Point Person and Engr. Karen T. Vicente discussed the package of support program that will help the rice farmers through the four components: 1) Rice Farm Machinery and Equipment; 2) Rice Seed Development, Propagation, and Promotion; 3) Expanded Rice Credit Assistance; and 4) Rice Extension Services.
Moreover, the updates on the extension program being implemented by the Center particularly on trainings and Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA) under RCEF program were discussed. As such, the requirements, application, and certification process were also presented.
