Director Pat Andrew B. Barrientos graced the closing program of BBMT: Urban Agriculture Training Workshop and Filipino Brand of Service Excellence.
In his message, he shared the importance of urban agriculture technologies to address national food insecurity. He also shared how the urban agriculture program started and other activities spearheaded by the ATI MIMAROPA such as the distribution of the UA starter kit and ATI community pantry during the time of pandemic.
Moreover, Director Barrientos presented the different programs and projects of the center, especially for the indigenous people. He emphasized that ATI will continuously think and implement programs and activities through collaborations and partnerships with other agencies.
Lastly, he encouraged everyone to utilize all the starter kit provided to them and apply all the knowledge they have learned during the training.
The BBMT: Urban Agriculture Training Workshop and Filipino Brand of Service Excellence was conducted on June 19-22, 2023 at Municipal Gymnasium, Mansalay, Oriental Mindoro in partnership with the Dept of Tourism MIMAROPA and Javenri Harvest Farm in Puerto Princesa City.
A total of 102 participants attended the activity and received UA starter kit from DOT and ATI MIMAROPA.
