
To assess and revisit the Center's accomplishments for 2024 and harmonize its target programs, projects, and activities (P/P/As) for 2025, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) in MIMAROPA conducted the FY 2024 Annual Review and FY 2025 Operational Planning Workshop on January 20-24, 2025 at ATI-RTC MIMAROPA, Barcenaga, Naujan, Oriental Mindoro, with activities conducted sequentially in San Jose and Magsaysay, Occidental Mindoro.
During the kick-off activity, Center Director Pat Andrew B. Barrientos and Assistant Center Director Norberto C. Maur shared valuable feedback and suggestions to further enhance the Center’s performance in both physical and financial accomplishments. They also emphasized the importance of streamlining processes, setting clear objectives, and fostering collaboration among sections/units to ensure the effective implementation of P/P/As.
The second day unfolded with the workshop activities conducted by each unit/section to develop strategies for enhanced operational efficiency and training/activity delivery, as well as innovative approaches for 2025. As these strategies were presented, Center Director Barrientos and Assistant Center Director Maur provided comments and suggestions for better implementation.
On the third day, all ATI-MIMAROPA staff travelled to Magsaysay, Occidental Mindoro for the continuation of the section plans and implementation/innovation strategies and discussion of the revised Civil Service Commission dress code to be implemented in February 2025.

In the evening, ATI-RTC MIMAROPA dominated the basketball exhibition games against the local government unit of Magsaysay, Occidental Mindoro which ended in a 107-79 victory. Meanwhile, the LGU Magsaysay girls volleyball team emerged victorious against the ATI-RTC MIMAROPA team, winning three out of five sets.
Lastly, the four teams of ATI-MIMAROPA staff participated in different team building activities facilitated by the Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Unit (PMEU) which proved the camaraderie, sportsmanship and athleticism within the institution.
