EASY Agri: Educational Assistance for the Youth in Agriculture

EAsY Agri 2023

A college scholarship grant in support of the children of smallholder farmers and fishers to pursue a Degree Program in the field of agriculture and other related courses.

Target Beneficiaries

The Youth, who are children of smallholder farmers and fishers and are incoming first year college students for 1st semester of SY 2023-2024.

Scholarship Support and Privileges

  • Matriculation/School fees (actual as assessed by the school) including Midyear if required, not to exceed P30,000 per school year
  • Monthly stipend including lodging of P6,000 per month
  • P1,500/Sem for learning materials and P500/mo. for internet allowance
  • Research allowance/ OJT of P10,000 to be given in full during the approval of the thesis title/start of OJT
  • Miscellaneous Allowances w/c include 1) Testing/Assessment fee of P 1,000 per test, and gadget assistance of P15,000 in cash subject for liquidation by the scholar
  • Graduation fees not exceeding P3,000

Eligibility Criteria

1. A Filipino citizen;
2. Not more than 30 years old at the time of application to the scholarship
3. A son or daughter of a farmer or fisher, whose parents are registered/ has applied for the RSBSA, with annual gross income of not more than Php 120,000
4. Senior High School graduate with a High School GPA/GWA of 85% or better  and willing to pursue a college degree in agriculture, fisheries or any agri-related course
5. An incoming first year college student, who passed the entrance/ qualifying examination of his/her preferred school
6. Physically and mentally fit (including the differently-abled who is capable of performing the duties and responsibilities of a scholar)
7. Must not be a delinquent scholar of a previous scholarship
9. Must not be related by consanguinity or affinity within the 2nd degree to any ATI employee

Documentary Requirements

1. Accomplished Application Form with 2x2 picture;
2. Certification from the Municipal Agriculturist Officer (MAO) as a bona fide son/daughter of small-scale farmer/fisherfolk with RSBSA registration number or proof of filing for registration;
3. Certificate of Indigency issued by the Barangay Captain; 
4. Authenticated copy of PSA birth certificate; 
5. Certified true copy of Senior High School Report Card (Form 138);
6. Certification of good moral character issued by the High School or Barangay, or Police Clearance;
7. Notarized Affidavit of non-delinquency in any previous scholarship;
8. Notarized Affidavit of no relation with any ATI Employee, within the 2nd degree of consanguinity or affinity;
9. Certification of good health from a government physician issued within the last two months, including: o clear x-ray result o negative drug test result
10. Certification of mental fitness issued by the Guidance Counselor of the scholar’s chosen University/High School or from a government/private institution;
11. Certified true copy of High School diploma (may be submitted within one (1) academic year from the acceptance of the scholarship).
