QUALIFICATIONS
Eligibility : Relevant RA 1080 (Agriculturist, Agricultural Engineer, Fisheries Technologist and Veterinarian)
Education : Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture or other Allied courses such as Agricultural Engineering, Fisheries Technology and Veterinary Medicine
Training : Four (4) hours relevant training
Work Experience : One (1) year relevant experience
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Assists the Section Head in:
a. Assessing potential Extension Service Providers (ESPs) for accreditation and in ESP performance evaluation;
b. Coordinating with SUCs, CSOs, POs, RBOs, LGUs, and other extension providers to establish partnerships for training and extension programs; - Under the direction & supervision of the Section Head:
a. Coordinates and supervises the establishment of Learning sites and Farm Tourism Sites;
b. Provides technical assistance in establishing linkages with other agencies and stakeholders on extension needs and strategies; - Develops extension modalities and other extension innovations;
- Solicits, reviews, and evaluates training and extension project proposals for compliance with standards to qualify for extension grants;
- Conducts training programs in coordination with the PAS;
- Prepares activity completion reports;
- Serves as resource person or subject matter specialist;
- Acts as Focal Person;
- Provides commodity technology inputs to the training & extension interventions of the Center; and
- Perform other functions required by the Section Head/Center Director
