Twenty-six (26) participants demonstrate microteaching as part of their outputs in the Training of Trainers (TOT) on High Quality Inbred Rice, Seed Certification, and Farm Mechanization.

Microteaching aims to assess the participants’ understanding of the subject matter and their ability to effectively communicate and cascade the learning and technologies to others. It also provides participants with an opportunity to practice and refine their presentation and facilitation skills for the implementation of extension activities to their respective clientele.

Each participant presents their topics at a given time before their co-participants and panelists for critiquing, feedback as well as coaching.

According to Mr. Jayson N. Erondo, Project Officer of the training, by engaging in microteaching activity, participants can gain valuable experiences in delivering effective facilitation and implementation of the Farmers Field School which will be their re-entry plan on this training.

He also added that by reflecting on their experience from this activity, participants can identify areas where they need to focus their efforts in order to effectively cascade their learnings to future participants.

The said TOT was held in Boac, Marinduque.
