The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) in MIMAROPA hosted the Agricultural Training and Extension Middle Managers Associationβs (ATEMMA) L&D Series: Strategic Succession Planning Workshop for Leadership Continuity and Institutional Excellence and the General Assembly Meeting at Balar Events Place, Balaring, Boac, Marinduque on February 20, 2025. The activity aimed to strengthen leadership continuity within the association and refine institutional strategies for the coming years.
To support this goal, Associate Professor V Dr. Anne Grace M. Labatete, Dean of the College of Governance at Marinduque State University served as the resource person. Dr. Labatete provided insightful comments and suggestions, helping refine their approaches to succession planning and leadership transition.
In addition to the workshop, ATEMMA also held its General Assembly Meeting where members reviewed past achievements and discussed their plans and targets for 2025. The meeting provided a platform for collaboration as they strategized on enhancing their initiatives and strengthening their roles in agricultural training and extension.
As the concluding part of the activity, ATEMMA members visited Learning Sites for Agriculture in the province, including KaluppΓ’ Foundation Inc. in Brgy. Pantayin, Santa Cruz, and Timbo Integrated Farm in Brgy. Timbo, Buenavista. The visit allowed them to observe innovative farming practices firsthand and explore potential areas for collaboration in advancing agricultural development.
