PILI, Camarines Sur -- The Department of Tourism Region 5 conducted a Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE) training for Agricultural Training Institute Regional Training Center V (ATI Bicol) staff on December 15, 2023 at Isarog Hall, San Agustin, Pili, Camarines Sur.
The FBSE is the flagship training program of the Department of Tourism designed to develop and sustain a tourism workforce capable of providing excellent quality services of globally-competitive standards to tourists and visitors traveling to and around the country while establishing and maintaining good customer relationships.
The Department of Tourism Region 5, headed by Director Herbie Aguas with Mr. Philip Bartilet as a Resource Speaker and Ms. Astrid Angelique B. Garcia as facilitator, laid down the four modules training which aims to demonstrate an understanding of the importance of excellent customer service skills; describe the communication process, barriers to communication and listening skills as effective communication tools; and provide effective techniques to handle customer concerns.
The ATI Bicol’s ATIng UMA (Unlimited Mentoring in Agriculture) is a DOT-accredited Agri Tourism Farm.
