The Local Government Unit of Capalonga, in collaboration with Agricultural Training Institute - Regional Training Center 5 (ATI Bicol), led the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the 30-Sow Level Swine Multiplier Farm Project was successfully conducted last September 20, 2023, at Brgy. Alayao, Capalonga, Camarines Norte.
On behalf of ATI Center Director Elsa A. Parot, OIC-Assistant Center Director Emmanuel Orogo officiated in the ceremony. Also in attendance in the said activity was the Municipal Mayor of Capalonga, Hon. Luz E. Ricasio, together with all section heads of the Local Government Unit of Capalonga. The Swine Multiplier Farm Project aims to speed up the recovery of the hog sector from Animal Swine Fever (ASF) in the Philippines.
