Regular Monitoring of Farmers' Information and Technology Services (FITS) Centers in the Province of Sorsogon was conducted, with Mr. Michael D. Villezar, the Information Officer II and TechnoGabay Program (TGP) Coordinator of Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) Bicol, and Ms. Ma. Francia E. Bautista, the Technical Support Staff.

This monitoring aimed to determine the status of the FITS Centers that were established years ago and to serve as an avenue for enhancement in the future.

Consultations and technical assistance were also provided to FITS Managers who wish to enhance their respective Centers. They are also given sets of IEC Materials, RCEF Posters, and Customized FITS Center Banner.

Despite the hurdles, FITS Centers are still able to sustain and continue to serve its purpose of bringing extension services closer to farmers. Indeed, their FITS Centers have survived the test of time and have proven that no one and nothing can defeat the existence of FITS Centers in their respective localities.
