PILI, Camarines Sur --- "Gamiton ta ini para maging mas produktibo kita lalo sa satong pagtatanom, pag-ooma o pagsisira. (Let's use this so we will be more productive in our farming and fishing activities.)"

With these words, Mayor Francis Belen of Pili hailed the importance of the Farmers Information and Technology Services (FITS) for farmers, particularly the younger generation. This took place at the Pili Municipal Agriculture Office on December 15, 2022 during the launching of the Techno Gabay Program and FITS Establishment ceremony.

The event culminated in the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) and the Local Government of Pili, which sealed the full implementation of FITS in the province's capital town.

Ms. Vivien Carable, ATI Bicol Assistant Center Director, officiated in the MOA signing and FITS launch. Serving as co-signatory, Municipal Agriculturist Arvin Salvino received the ICT equipment from ATI. "Dakulang tabang ini sa LGU Pili, lalo na sa mga paraoma. (This is a big help to LGU Pili and the farmers.)"

Mr. Michael Villezar, Techno Gabay Program regional coordinator, spearheaded the activity.
