PILI, Camarines Sur – “Ma’am Els, Kudos.” Noting the physical improvements in the facilities and features of the Center, ATI Deputy Director Antonieta Arceo opened the validation conference and inspection at ATI Bicol. Members of the Central Office (ATI-CO) Management Committee (ManCom) visited the Center on February 23-24, 2023.
“Our purpose is not to look into the deficiencies, but look at your procedures,” Director Arceo explained the ATI-CO ManCom’s series of visits to ATI-Regional Training Centers (RTCs) which began in 2022. She added that the activity is meant to complement the ISO surveillance audit.
For her part, Center Director Elsa Parot warmly welcomed her former coworkers, having been part of ATI-CO for 15 years prior to her appointment as Training Center Superintendent II of ATI Bicol.
“Just be yourself,” CD Parot requested her staff, stating that she takes pride in working with them.
The ATI-CO Validation Team met with each Section and Unit of the Center, and asked probing questions to draw out their respective strategies and even challenges encountered. Assistant CD Vivien Carable formally introduced to the Team each of the ATI Bicol personnel, both permanent and contract of service.
The ATI Bicol workforce warmly welcomed the Team as a chance to meet and greet each one of them in person. Together with Deputy Director Arceo, the Team comprises Ms. Milagros Urbano, Planning and M&E Chief; Ms. Editha Vinuya, Career Development Management Division Chief; Ms. Nemielynn Pangilinan, Partnerships and Accreditation Chief; Mr. Joeven Calasagsag, Information Services Chief; Ms. Marisa Galgo, Human Resource Management Chief; Ms. Leonila Cadiz, Budget Chief; as well as Ms. Cindy Alfonzo and Mr. Mark Nello Alvarez.
The validation visit came just a week after the ISO surveillance audit.
