NAGA CITY — “A family that farm together stays together” is not only a quote but a reality as the Agricultural Training Institute Regional Training Center V (ATI Bicol) paves its way through the “Training on Vegetable Production Technology for Farm Family Modeling Project Beneficiaries” in three days on June 25 to 27, 2024 at Sitio Iwid, Barangay Balatas, Naga City.
Participated by five farm families, this training aims to enhance their agricultural competencies by providing capability-building activities and extension support. The said training was realized by cooperating with the Center’s partners – LGU Naga City, the Philippine National Police, and the Philippine Army.
The three-day training comprises lectures and hands-on methodologies that may provide livelihood opportunities to the farm families of the returnees through the provision of valuable agricultural technologies that will improve their living conditions and status. The families were also provided with vegetable seeds and farm tools as starter kit for the family vegetable farming.
