The event featured various activities designed for elementary students and aimed to raise awareness among the general public, students, and agri-enthusiasts about the harvest festival in the Bicol Region.
One of the event's highlights is the poster-making contest for Grades 3 to 6 students across Bicol Region, which ignites creative minds. Adding to the educational experience is the farm tour in the ATIng UMA of the 50 Grades 1-3 students from San Agustin Elementary School, accompanied by their parents and advisers, which provides a hands-on learning experience to students and allows them to experience the harvesting of produce, such as eggplants, cabbages, long chili peppers, and eggs. Following this is the Pinaka Contest, where students showcased their best harvest produce. Also, traditional games or “Laro ng Lahi” bring friendly competition and a fun way for children to bond.
