4 Young Farmers Return From Internship in Taiwan

After completing 11 months of intensive on-site farm training in Taiwan, the four (4) young farmers returned to Region 1. They paid a courtesy visit to the management and staff of the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center 1 (ATI-RTC 1) today, July 29, 2024.

While sharing their learnings and experiences, they mentioned how the Filipino Young Farmers Internship Program in Taiwan (FYFIPT) provided them with an opportunity for personality development and to be immersed in different farming technologies.

In his remarks, ATI-RTC 1 OIC Center Director Dr. Jayvee Bryan G. Carillo emphasized the significant role of these young farmers who represented the region in the third batch of FYFIPT. Dr. Carillo said that their take-home insights will contribute to their respective communities, specifically in introducing and demonstrating worth-replicating farming practices.
