After the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center 1 (ATI-RTC 1) proposed a collaboration, the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University-South La Union Campus (DMMMSU-SLUC) took a significant step toward eco-friendly farming by adopting Mokusaku Technology.

With funding from the Japan Agricultural Exchange Council (JAEC), DMMMSU-SLUC established a Mokusaku facility on February 17, 2025, in Rosario, La Union. Following the installation, JAEC and ATI-RTC 1 led a comprehensive orientation on February 18 at DMMMSU-SLUC, engaging farmers, student leaders, faculty, and staff. The session highlighted the benefits and applications of Mokusaku Technology, equipping participants with practical knowledge for improving their farming practices.

Through this initiative, attendees gained hands-on experience with the Mokusaku facility and learned how to integrate its benefits into their agricultural work. Such efforts are vital in empowering local farming communities and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.

The Mokusaku facility is expected to play a key role in advancing sustainable farming in the region. By utilizing wood vinegar as a natural fertilizer and pesticide, this innovative technology enhances crop yields while minimizing the environmental impact of traditional farming methods.

ATI-RTC 1 remains committed to promoting Mokusaku Technology as part of its ongoing efforts to advance agricultural sustainability and innovation.
