The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center 1 received various recognitions and awards during the 2023 Knowledge Management Updates held at Tupi, South Cotabato on December 4-7, 2023.
The ATI-RTC 1 obtained the 3rd Place Excellence Award in recognition of its innovation and strategies in the regional implementation of programs and activities under the Information Services. As such, the Center received the Most Active Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund-Rice Extension Services Program Implementer (RCEF-RESP) in its performance in the implementation and monitoring of the RCEF-RESP.
The Best in Local Media Engagement was also presented to the Center for its exemplary efforts to forge partnerships with the local media to promote and implement the programs and services of the Institute. This award is truly proof of how the Center has sustained its strong association with local media.
The Center also gained the Highest Website Page Views award in recognition of its information and communication strategies through its official website.
The KM Updates is an annual event organized by the ATI-Central Office-Information Services Division and it is delegated by the staff of the Information Services Section from the different Training Centers nationwide. Dr. Maricel D. Dacapias, ATI-RTC 1 ISS Chief, represented the region bringing home the Star of the Night Award.
These awards and recognitions are certain indicators of how agriculture and fisheries extension (AFE) key players in Region 1 have worked in harmony to achieve one goal and that is to provide excellent extension services.
Lastly, these milestones are dedicated to all AFE stakeholders and clientele in the region.
