BSU Students Share Their Great Experience During their Internship Program at the Center

“Agriculture is not only a science, business, or art, it is also a trending activity that needs to be updated”, shares Dr. Jamesly Andres, during the Internship Closing Program for Benguet State University-Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Extension Education Majors and Organic Agriculture (OA) Majors at the DA-ATI-RTC-CAR on July 16, 2024.

Mr. Andres, the adviser of the Extension Education of the BSU Agriculture is also thankful to the ATI-RTC-CAR for accommodating these Extension Education students as the practicum office of these students to experience of agricultural extension world.

Furthermore, Ms. Florinda C. Tiw-an, adviser of the OA students encouraged them to apply the lessons that they learned from this internship.

During the activity, the interns shared their accomplishments, observations, insights, and practical applications during their stay at ATI-RTC-CAR. Based on how they present their accomplishment it is evident that they enjoyed their stay and learned a lot of new things, self-discovery that they can use for their future endeavors.

Representatives from each section and unit gave their responses.

Awarding of certificates and tokens of appreciation to these interns and adviser from ATI-CAR followed.

One highlight of the activity was the giving of certificates of recognition to interns who received the highest rating for their hard work and excellent performance during their internship. Said ratings were based on the staff of each section and unit of the ATI-CAR who evaluated their performance.

In his closing message, Training Center Director Charlie C. Sagudan encouraged the students to have the steadfast conviction to help the agriculture sector.

The closing program activity serves as an avenue for the interns to share their learning experiences and journey while they stayed at ATI-RTC-CAR.  The internship period for Extension Education commenced on June 3 while the Organic Agriculture students commenced on June 10 respectively. Their internship program ended officially on 12, 2024.
