ATI-RTC-CAR conducted this strategic assessment to evaluate the health and vibrancy of its agricultural initiatives. The review acted as a pulse check on the core of programs, projects, and activities (PPAs), allowing the staff to assess how well the interventions are evolving and meeting the dynamic needs of the agricultural sector and its stakeholders.
Center Director Charlie C. Sagudan provided the policy directions which highlighted the overarching policies of the Institute, aligning ATI’s role as the capacity builder, knowledge bank, and catalyst in pursuit of a Masaganang Agrikultura at Maunlad na Ekonomiya Patungo sa Bagong Pilipinas.
The presentations included a comprehensive analysis of the Center's performance, covering the physical and financial accomplishments, issues and concerns encountered, an update on the AEW registry through the UNEXSys, and a discussion on the Project Procurement Management Plan (PPMP).
As the Center charts future directions, the strategic planning involved a detailed review and refinement of the proposed FY 2026 plans, aimed at ensuring that agricultural extension PPAs are delivered effectively and efficiently to both internal and external clients or beneficiaries.
Furthermore, the ATIng Padayaw event was held as a recognition and awards celebration to recognize outstanding staff achievements in FY 2023 and 1st Semester of FY 2024, including both group and individual awards. This event aims to motivate employees, reinforce positive behavior, enhance workplace culture, and support the organization’s overall goals.
The four-day activity facilitated by the Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation Unit (PMEU) was held on August 27-30, 2024, at Aspulan Hall, ATI-RTC-CAR and Pugo, La Union.//Brandy Banda-ay, DMO II/PMEU Head
