Seven (7) agriculturists from ATI-RTC-CAR actively participated in the 4th Regional PAA-CAR Chapter Convention, contributing as committee members, participants, and resource speakers. The convention served as more than just a gathering – it was a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and inspiration.
The event featured distinguished leaders, experts, researchers, and innovators who shared their insights, cutting-edge technologies, and effective strategies to advance and strengthen agriculture in the Cordillera region.
With the theme "Enhancing Professional Agriculturists Towards a Strong and Sustainable Agriculture Sector in the Cordillera Administrative Region," the activity underscored the vital role of agricultural professionals in promoting regional development.
The event drew participants from diverse sectors, including National Government Agencies (NGAs), Local Government Units (LGUs), State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), and private companies. Attendees represented not only the Cordillera Administrative Region but also. neighboring regions such as Region I, II, Ill, IV-A, IV-B, V, VIII, XI, and the National Capital Region (NCR).
The activity was conducted to strengthen the PM Organizations, to provide updates on the Agriculture program initiatives where the Agriculturists are implementers, a venue for "connectivity"; and a venue for threshing out issues and concerns of PM Association matters for smooth implementation. Generally, it aims to enhance participants' proficiency in agricultural practices and apply their skills to ensure resilience, sustainability, competence, and dedicated service to the clients.
The Convention has 19 CPD points with 19 topics discussed by various speakers.
The convention was held on March 4-6, 2025 at the Benguet Sports Complex Wangal, La Trinidad, Benguet. A total of 491 participants attended the said activity.
