Send off Ceremony of Two Young Filipino Farm Leaders Training Program in Japan Batch 2024.

Two lucky young agri-preneurs from Kalinga Province who passed the Young Filipino Farmers Leadership Training Program for Japan (YFFLTPJ) batch 2024 are now ready for deployment in Japan. Mr. Joseph Luminio, Jr. and Mr. Reymar Omeccas accompanied by their parents attended the Send Off held on April 8, 2024 the ATI Compound's RDEC Function Hall in Diliman, Quezon City.

The activity commenced at 8:45 am with an entry march of interns, accompanied by their parents, LGUs, and representatives from the ATI Regional Training Centers.

ATI Director Remelyn R. Recoter delivered the opening message, wherein she initiated the program introduction and discussed the processes conducted both regionally and nationally. She urged the interns to strive for excellence, emphasizing their selection from a pool of numerous applicants.

Secretary of the Department of Agriculture, Mr. Francisco P. Tui Laurel Jr., delivered a message of support, promising additional post-training assistance to the interns. He pledged non-monetary support, such as seeds, machinery, and other necessary farm inputs required for their projects. Additionally, he reiterated the importance of perseverance and diligence, emphasizing that "Sipag at Tiyaga" (diligence and perseverance) is the most crucial weapon for success.

Additionally, Mr. TJ Takashi Yoshikawa, Executive Director of JAEC, represented by Mr. Perlas, affirmed their continuous presence and commitment to providing full assistance and support to the interns.

The event was spearheaded by the Agricultural Training Institute – Central Office and was attended by 23 young farmers leaving for Japan under the said program.
