To assess this year’s scholarship program and to recognize scholar graduates of the educational assistance programs of ATI-RTC-CAR, the center conducted a Scholarship Assessment Program and Recognition on July 30, 2024.

During the opening program, Jam Balingan, ATI-RTC-CAR’s Focal Person on the Scholarship Program, presented the overview and objective of the activity to the attendees, highlighting the need to discuss the updated regulations and other issues concerning the EAsY Agri and EdGE scholars.

Hence, Balingan discussed the status of the scholarship program at the regional and national level, updated scholarship guidelines, and the 2023 scholarship assessment results.

Meanwhile, Charlie Sagudan, Training Center Director, graced the activity imparting values and key message of motivation among the scholars.

Moreover, a plenary discussion with EdGE scholars was integrated to identify issues and concerns among the EAsY Agri scholars emphasizing the possible factors contributing to their failure and success.

Consequently, EdGE scholars shared their advice and experiences in life as a scholar and students intending to help or provide guidance among the difficulties of the younger batch of scholars.

Furthermore, the discussion was followed through a discussion on agreements and ways forward on the scholarship program.

As part of the activity, the ten scholar graduates of EAsY Agri Batch 1 were given recognition.//Ezra James Felix
