ATI-RTC-CAR Conducts Training on Enterprise Development Planning in Support of the Clustering Program

The Agriculture Training Institute- Regional Training Center- Cordillera Administrative Region (ATI-RTC-CAR) conducts Batch 3 of Training on Enterprise Development Planning for Duck/ Chicken Production in Support of the Clustering Program on July 23-25, 2024 at Tabuk City, Kalinga.

Participants were composed of farmers from Unified Magsaysay for Development Organization, San Pedro-Kinama-San Francisco Rice Cluster, and Tanggal Bulo SWISA Rice Cluster.

Moreover, topics discussed include Palayamanan; Chicken Production and Management; and Enterprise Development Plan for Chicken Production.

Also, a workshop on feed formulation and creating an enterprise plan was facilitated to immerse the attendees in enterprise production and market access.

Meanwhile, Alice Andrada, a farmer from Rizal, Kalinga expressed her gratitude as the training helped them to improve their knowledge of chicken production and management and how can this be integrated into their current business ventures.

The said training aims to foster collaborative farming communities through a capacity-building effort that aligns with the department's clustering program.

Consequently, by participating in this program, farmers can share resources, knowledge, and market access, leading to economies of scale and enhanced bargaining power.//Ezra James Felix, CDMSS Technical Support Staff
