ATI-Cordi Participates in the Webinar on eMDS and weAccess Institutions Internet Banking for GSIS Payments

The ATI in the Cordillera through its Cashiering Services has attended the Webinar on Electronic Modified Disbursement System (eMDS) and weAccess Institutions Internet Banking for GSIS Payments held via zoom on July 18, 2024.

Ms. Bernadette D. Apigo, the Cashier of the Center said that GSIS issued a memorandum circular No. 55, series of 2024, which mandates the electronic collection of agency remittances effective October 1, 2024. With this issuance, the GSIS invited LandBank of the Philippines (LBP) to discuss the features and use of Electronic Modified Disbursement System (eMDS) and weAccess Institutions Internet Banking. The eMDS is a secure internet facility for National Government Agencie s(NGAs), including the Bureau of Treasury and the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), that will give banking convenience to perform MDS transactions online. WeAccess is an Internet banking facility developed for LandBank’s institutional clients, both private corporations and government entities. It allows selected banking transactions online.

In eMDS, the agency can view balances and transaction details, Advice to Cancel and Issue Checks, Notice of Transfer Allocation, List of Due and Demandable Accounts Payable, and Checkbook Requisition. As regards for the weAccess, one can view, print or download, and save bank statements, and Bills payment.

With the eMDS and weAccess, the ATI-RTC-CAR as a government institution has already complied with enrolling to the system.//with report from Ms. Bernadette D. Apigo, Cashier
