The Center conducted its clean and green activity on August 9, 2024 to revitalize and enhance its landscape, creating a more welcoming and conducive work environment. This also aligns with the health and safety efforts of the Center, particularly in response to the noted increasing dengue cases in the municipality.

This complies with Executive Order No. 118, series of 1993, also known as the Clean and Green Program which mandates the active participation of all government agencies nationwide in urban greening, DA-ATI-RTC-CAR has been regularly conducting a Clean and Green Activity over the years. This was also designed so that all staff could leave their routine work and take part in the cleanliness and beautification of the Center's premises.

To ensure every staff has assignments to work on, the staff were distributed into six (6) groups assigned to different locations of the Center.

The semester 2 clean and green activity focused on cleaning possible breeding grounds for mosquitoes, especially dengue carriers. This is in response to the call of the Municipality of La Trinidad to "SEARCH and DESTROY MOSQUITO BREEDING SITES" due to the rising cases of dengue fever cases in the municipality. Several ATI-RTC-CAR staff have also been infected with dengue in June and July of this year.

Another objective of the Clean and Green this semester is to prepare the Center for the rainy season, hence cleaning of canals and gutters and trimming of plants/trees were done to secure the perimeters from possible flooding, roof leaking, and other possible imminent danger the upcoming typhoons may bring.//with reports from Ms. Liza D.
