Aspiring Farm Business Trainers from the province of Ifugao participated in the first batch of the Training of Trainers on Farm Business School at J and E integrated Farming School Incorporated.
The training aims to enable participants to acquire a deep understanding of managing a Farm Business with the necessary knowledge, skills, tools and techniques. This shall also guide them in teaching complex business concepts to assist other farmers.
During the opening program, Engr. Eugene Culimay, Municipal Agriculturist of Alfonso Lista, Ifugao encouraged the participants to actively participate in the training program. He stated “As trainers you are responsible in assisting the local farmers that we have here in the community. As a catalyst of progress, you need to further your knowledge in terms of marketing skills, financial management and record-keeping being able to effectively manage your resources and track your business growth. Remember that the accumulation of wealth is not how much you gain but about how much you save”.
Through the training, participants are expected to pave the way in empowering local farmers by teaching them the necessary skills to build successful and sustainable farming enterprises.
Said training was participated by the different RCEF LSA Administrators, trainers, facilitators, FFS Graduates and partner agency from the said province. The training will run from September 16-27, 2024.
