BAYBAY CITY, Leyte - Following its 35th Anniversary, the Agricultural Training Institute and its network of regional training centers underwent the 3rd party ISO 9001:2015 surveillance audit. This audit aimed to ensure the center’s compliance of the Quality Management System (QMS) with the standards of the ISO 9001.
On February 8, 2022, ATI-RTC 8 underwent the surveillance audit conducted online. Ms. Michelle Geli, and Mr. Charlie Labrador audited the Office of the Center Director/Management, Human Resource Management, Career Development and Management Services Section (CDMSS), Information Services Section (ISS), and Partnership and Accreditation Services Section (PASS) following the audit plan. These sections and unit’s adherence to the quality objectives and assessments of risks were primarily the areas of evaluation and if compliance to ISO 9001 were strictly being followed.
The evaluation ended with ATI-RTC 8 passing the surveillance audit retaining its ISO 9001:2015 Certification. It was on December 2018 where the Center received their ISO 9001:2015 certification for the Quality Management System (QMS). With this accomplishment, the Center hopes to continue to provide quality extension services despite the threats of the pandemic.
