The Filipino Young Farmers Internship Program in Taiwan (FYFIPT) brings another opportunity in its third year of implementation. The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), in partnership with the Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO) and Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in the Philippines (TECO), is calling for nominees for the program where a total of fifty (50) interns will be selected. The program will be accepting three (3) young farmers from each region including the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, and two (2) slots through the International Training Center on Pig Husbandry.

As part of the selection process, simultaneous written examinations will be held on March 23, 2023 while the field validation will be conducted on March 27-29, 2023. The qualifying interns and their documentary requirements are expected to be endorsed to the ATI-Central Office on or before April 4, 2023.

The FYFIPT is an 11-month internship program in Taiwan for qualified young Filipino farmers. The program aims to support the youth to gain skills and knowledge about modern agricultural and fisheries techniques, marketing strategies, cooperative management, among others.
